David Heffler 77, of Peekskill, N.Y. died on Dec.24, 2008 at Hudson Valley Hospital in Peekskill, N.Y. He was born on April 30, 1931 to the late Morris and Anna (nee Posnick) Heffler in Brooklyn, N.Y. David was self employed in the Window Display business. He is survived by his lifetime partner Betty Tracy of Peekskill, N.Y. His loving Children; Mark of Hopewell Jct., N.Y. Steven of Beekman, N.Y. Robert of Ft.Lauderdale, Fla. Richard of Mohegan Lake, N.Y. and Lesli Klein of Carmel, N.Y. 1 sister Thelma Heffler of Monticello, N.Y. Also survived by 9 cherished grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral Service, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday 10:30 AM. Interment Sharon Gardens Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y.
