ROHER, DANIEL S., of White Plains, age 88, died March 5 after a period of declining health. Beloved husband of Florence (Rodkinson), with whom he shared 63 years. Devoted father to Deborah of New Bedford, Mass., Richard of Chappaqua, and Torin of West Linn, Ore. He is also survived by brothers Clarence (Cliff) of Pearl River and Robert (Bob) of the Bronx, daughters-in-law Susan and Lisa, grandchildren David and Natalie, many nieces and nephews, friends and protégés. After graduating from Baruch College in 1946, he worked as advertising manager for Channel Master Corp. in Ellenville, N.Y., then as campaign manager and administrative assistant to Congressman Joseph Y. Resnick, 1965-69. He then founded Roher Public Relations and served as its president until 1996. Avid traveler, lover of nature, patron of the visual and performing arts, and supporter of Jewish causes and of expanded opportunity for higher education. Services Sunday 12:30 p.m. at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Ave., White Plains, to be followed by burial at Old Montefiore Cemetery.
