Cosmo D. Amodei

Cosmo D. Amodei 87, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Nov.27,2022 at his residence. He was born on Feb.23,1935 to the late Pasquale and Amalia Amodei in Colli Al Volturno, Italy. He was a retired Estate Caretaker in Chappaqua, N.Y. and later worked for Westlake High School. Cosmo was a member of the Thornwood Lions Club, Holy Name Society of Holy Rosary Church and The Mount Pleasant Seniors. He is survived by his devoted wife, Natalie (nee Soprano) Amodei of Hawthorne, N.Y. and his loving children, Patrick (Lauren) Amodei of Manassas, VA., James (Denise) Amodei of Fishkill, N.Y. and Anne Marie Ventimiglia of Danbury, CT. also survived by his five cherished grandchildren, Donna, Ryan (Veronica), Russell, Brooke and Joseph. Predeceased by his one brother and five sisters. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec.1,2022 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Friday, 10 AM. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Holy Rosary Church, 170 Bradhurst Ave. Hawthorne, N.Y.10532, would be appreciated.
