Clotilde 'Millie' Maisonave

Clotilde ‘Millie’ Maisonave, a longtime resident of The Bronx, NY, passed away peacefully on her 75th birthday, June 3, 2025 at the Calvary Hospital in the Bronx. She was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on June 3, 1950, daughter of the late Candido Maisonave and Maria Antonia Velez.

She worked as a dental assistant in Puerto Rico and medical assistant in New York for many years.

She loved coffee, cooking, riding her bike, listening to the sounds of the coqui, salsa music, feeding the pigeons that would come to her window, and her two beloved turtles named Monday and Baby Monsta.

Millie is survived by her two daughters, Jessie Ramos-Willey and Barbara Ramos-Lipson; her son Agenol Ramos; and adopted son Ronnie Ortega, her son-in-law Lynn Willey and Zeke Lipson as well as her four cherished grandchildren, Hailey, Maggie, Cali and Sienna. She is also survived by her one sister Brunilda and her niece Leanna and nephews Papito, Carlos and Javier.

Her Family will receive Friends on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 1-5PM at the BALLARD-DURAND FUNERAL HOME 72 E. Main Street, Elmsford, New York. A Funeral Mass will be held 11AM, Monday, June 9, 2025 at Christ Episcopal Church, 43 S. Broadway, Tarrytown, NY, followed by entombment to Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, New York.
