Clara F. DiGiansante

It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Clara Di Giansante of Hawthorne, NY announce her passing on November 2 ^nd , 2022 at Calvary Hospice in the Bronx, NY. She had reached the amazing age of 101. Clara was born on November 20 ^th , 1920 in Yonkers, NY to Pauline and Enrico Marinelli also of Yonkers.  She was married for 57 years to her devoted husband, Dante, who pre-deceased her in 2003. She was the mother of 4 beloved children: Frank Di Sante of Centennial, CO, Diana Costanzo of Mount Kisco, NY, Dante Di Giansante Jr. of Thornwood, NY and Loretta Gifford of Hawthorne, NY.  Also, much loved daughters-in-law Debora Di Giansante and Nancy Di Sante and sons-in-law David Gifford and Will Costanzo.  She found great joy in her 6 cherished grand children: Chelsea and Skylar Gifford, Dana and Dante Di Giansante III and Sommer and Michael Di Sante.  Clara was a kind and caring wife, mother and grandmother, an avid home maker and gardener and will be forever remembered for her love of family and generous spirit.

Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov.8,2022 for a family only viewing at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. for public at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
