Christine A. Sanese

Christine Ann Sanese, 48, passed away on October 1, 2021 after a courageous battle with lung cancer which she fought with grace and dignity.  Christine was born on December 4, 1972 to Robert and Phyllis Sanese of White Plains, NY.

Christine’s greatest joy was her children, Nina Helen and Joseph Daniel.  She could always be found at their baseball and softball games, and she loved spending time with them and her family.  Christine also looked forward to their annual summer vacations to Brigantine, NJ.  She loved being on the beach and watching her children play.

Christine was loved by so many!  Danielle, her parents, Robert and Phyllis and family, John and Joanna, Stella, Frank and Philomena, Sharon, Nicholas, Anthony, Frankie, Dominic, Christopher, Aimee and David, Benjamin, Matthew, Craig, Caitlyn and Liam, and countless dear cousins, friends and colleagues.  Christine was a passionate first grade teacher for many years, first at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, then at Carl L. Dixson Primary School, both in Elmsford.  Christine was a graduate of Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in 1986, then a teacher there and now a proud parent as both her children attend.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Christine’s name.

Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, October 9, 2021, 10am, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 59 East Main Street, Elmsford, NY with a burial following at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale, NY.
