Catherine (Ciampa) Capone

Catherine Capone 100, of Yonkers, N.Y. died on August 11, 2018. She was born on Jan. 23, 1918 to the late Frank and Rose Ciampa in NYC. Catherine was predeceased by her devoted husband, Joseph T. Capone in 1975 and also predeceased by her sister, Ann Amato and brother, Tony Ciampa both of Yonkers, N.Y. She is survived by her loving children, Marilyn (Thomas) Como of Sandy Hook, CT., Lois Ferrari of Mt. Tremper, N.Y., Precious (Chris) Capone-Maggio of Hiram, GA and Joseph Jr. (Janet Nold) Capone of  Hobe Sound, FL and White Plains, N.Y. also survived by her seven cherished grandchildren, Lynn (Richard), Thomas (Antonella), Joseph III (Cindy), Nicole, Matthew, Daniel (Suzanne) and Gwenn and five great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Wednesday, 12:30 PM. Entombment to follow.
