Carol Maher Schiavo

Carol J. Schiavo, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 8, 2025. She was born on December 21, 1942, in Mount Kisco, NY.

Carol is survived by her husband, Bill Schiavo, her two sons, Bill and James, and her cherished grandchildren, Rachael and Mae.

Family and friends are invited to a wake on Friday, September 12, from 4-8 p.m. at Hawthorn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 13, at 11 a.m. at Holy Innocents Church.

Carol will be remembered for her infectious laugh, her strength, and her devotion to family. She brought joy and light into every room, and her kindness touched everyone she met. Her love will live on in her children, grandchildren, and all whose lives she brightened.
