Carmelo J. Raniolo

Carmelo J. Raniolo 91, of Elmsford, N.Y. and formerly of Bronx, N.Y. died on Sept. 6, 2021 at Calvary Hospital Bronx, N.Y. He was born on July 29, 1930 to the late John and Rosaria (nee DiGrande) Raniolo in Bronx, N.Y.  He proudly served in the US Army during The Korean Conflict. Carmelo was a retired Co Owner-Operator of Raniolo Baking Corp in Bronx,l N.Y. He was predeceased by his devoted wife, Lucille (nee Appello) Raniolo in 2011 and also predeceased by two brothers, Salvatore and Angelo Raniolo. Carmelo is survived by his loving children, Rosemary (Donato) Greco of Elmsford, N.Y. and John (Denise) Raniolo of Danbury, CT.  also survived by his three cherished grandchildren, Michele (Nick) Cosgrove, Danielle Greco, Megan Raniolo and one great grandson, Landon Michael. one brother, Joseph (Ann) Raniolo of Yonkers, N.Y. and one sister, Mary Cavalli of Yonkers, N.Y. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept.9, 2021 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Friday, 10 AM. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to Calvary Hospital, Bronx, N.Y. would be appreciated.
