Carmela (Carmen) F. Curzio 93, a Longtime Resident of Mt.Vernon, N.Y. died on March 4, 2016.
She was born on August 12, 1922 to the late Dominick and Mary (nee Pullero) Sanginetti in Pittsfield, Mass. Carmela was predeceased by her devoted husband, Joseph T. Curzio in 1985 also predeceased by her brothers, Francis, Vincent, Nicholas Sanginetti and her sister, Marion Gennari. She is survived by her loving children, Anthony Curzio of Spring Hill, Fla., Elaine Curzio of Peekskill, N.Y. and Dianne (Peter) Helwig of Dacula, GA. Also survived by her six cherished grandchildren, Donna (Edwin) Stahl, Anthony (Joanna) Curzio, James (Karen) Curzio, Kristina Helwig, Christopher and David Curzio. and seven great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday, 5-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Tuesday, 10 AM. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, New Rochelle, N.Y.
