Carlos (Tito) Torres passed away peacefully on 4/19/2026 surrounded by his family after a short and courageous battle with cancer.

Born on 5/7/1973 in Brooklyn, NY to Iris Colón and Roberto Torres where he grew up with his brothers Henry and Joe Colón.

He married his soulmate, Fabiana Torres (Lamela) on 9/9/2000 and together they built a life defined by love, laughter and family.
Carlos was a devoted and hardworking husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, son-in-law, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend to many. He was known for his infectious smile, sarcastic humor, compassionate heart, gentle kindness and strong work ethic. He proudly served his nation as a United States Marine. He was an exceptional man who volunteered as a firefighter, sheriff, constable and football coach.

He is survived by his loving & devoted wife of 25 years, his children Errol (Veronica) & Xavier, his granddaughter, Khaleesi, his brother-in-laws , sister-in-laws, father-in-law and his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles which he adored and whom all loved him dearly.
Carlos will be incredibly missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 72 East Main St, Elmsford NY on 4/22/2026 from 4-8pm.
