Camille Elizabeth Morello

September 10, 1927 - August 20, 2026

Camille Elizabeth Morello, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and matriarch of her family, passed peacefully into eternal glory on August 20, 2026, at the age of 98.

Camille was the beloved wife of Dominick "Mickey" Morello, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and devotion until his passing on June 19, 2009. Their life together was marked by a deep love for one another and an enduring devotion to their family.

Camille will now be reunited in glory with her beloved husband and with the siblings who preceded her in death, two of whom passed earlier this year. As a family, we mourn the passing of this noble generation whose presence shaped so much of who we are. Yet alongside our grief is an immense and abiding gratitude-for the lives they lived, the strength they embodied, the love they gave so freely, and the legacy they leave behind in their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and generations yet to come.

Camille is survived by her loving son, Gary R. Morello (Susan); her cherished grandchildren, Melissa Penza (Greg), Gary M. Morello (Erica), and Mickey Morello (Frances); and her ten beloved great-grandchildren, all of whom loved and adored their Nonna deeply.

Camille was many wonderful things, but perhaps she shined brightest as a woman who loved her family, cared for them deeply, and brought them together. She was a steady presence and a source of love, warmth, and belonging. For her nieces and nephews, Aunt Camille was a loving presence and a steady force-a woman whose place in the family was treasured and whose absence will be deeply felt.

But it was as "Nonna" that Camille left perhaps her most enduring mark. Her impact on her grandchildren is immeasurable. The love they have for her will not end with her passing. It will live on in the stories they tell, the traditions they carry forward, the lessons they learned from her, and the way they love their own families.

Love was woven into everything Camille did. It was in the meals she prepared, the family gatherings she nurtured, the people she welcomed, the stories she shared, and the countless ordinary moments that became precious simply because she was there.

Camille "Bellzie" Morello leaves behind far more than memories. She leaves a family bound together by the love she helped create and cultivate.

We grieve because we loved her deeply.

And we give thanks to the Lord because we were blessed to have her.

The family takes comfort in knowing that Camille's long earthly journey has come to its beautiful completion, and that she is now in the presence of our Lord, truly a far better place.

Well done, Nonna. Your family will carry your love with us always.
