Brandon Cruz

d. July 7, 2022

Bedford, NY

Brandon Cruz, of Bedford Hills, NY, passed away on July 7, 2022. He was born in Lennox Hill Hospital, in New York City, on March 24, 1988. Brandon grew up in North Castle, NY, and graduated from Byram Hills High School, where he played on the soccer team. He then attended SUNY Albany. Brandon was last employed as a warehouse manager at an advertising agency.

Brandon was a nature lover and especially loved snowy days. He was an avid snowboarder and could not wait to visit the Green Mountains of Vermont every winter.

Brandon enjoyed riding his bicycle on the roads of Bedford. While a sophomore in High School, Brandon travelled by bicycle across the continental US. He dipped the rear tire of his bicycle into the Atlanta Ocean, in Savannah, Georgia, to begin his journey of over 3000 miles to Santa Monica, California, where he then dipped his front tire into the Pacific Ocean, at the end of the six week journey.

Brandon also loved traveling to and spending time on the beaches of Florida and the Caribbean with family and friends. Another great joy of his life was visiting his aunts, uncles and cousins in England.

Brandon dedicated his life to showering his wife, family and close friends with hugs, kisses and never ending love. He loved nothing more than singing and dancing with his wife and brother. Brandon had a passion for writing lyrics to songs and he was looking forward to recording one day. He had a real love for free form poetry.

“Blue Jays are a good omen. They mean good things are on the horizon. And positive good spirits are on your side, and you have angels watching over you”.

Brandon was so loved by his family and close friends and will be missed forever. He is survived by his wife and soulmate, Reece, his loving brother, Chris, and his adoring parents, Shohreh and Carlos, and they will always celebrate his life.
