Boniface Anthony DiGregoria

Boniface ("Barney") A. DiGregoria of Hawthorne, NY passed peacefully on December 12, 2022 at the age of 84. Born in the Bronx, NY, he was the oldest of three children. He was a lifelong music lover often listening to 50's and 60's music as well as Motown artists. His favorite artists were Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. He was a history buff and enjoyed war documentaries and his favorite sports team was the NY Yankees. A military veteran, Barney served in the US Army in Seoul, Korea achieving the rank of Specialist and was Honorably Discharged from the Army in 1963. He retired from a long career as a Teacher's Aide for B.O.C.E.S.

Boniface is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Gertrude DiGregoria - wife, of Hawthorne, John DiGregoria (wife Linda) - son, of South Salem, Corey DiGregoria - son, Deneen DiGregoria - daughter, of Croton On Hudson. He is survived by grandchildren Danielle Pendse, Lauren Flannery, Stephen DiGregoria, Nicole DiGregoria, Anthony DiGregoria and Aaden Barbara, as well as great-grandson, James Pendse.

Boniface is preceded in death by John DiGregorio - father, Jean DiGregorio - mother, and sisters Johanna Gregor and Cecilia Sullivan.

The service for Mr. Boniface DiGregoria will be held on Friday, at 10:00 AM at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne, NY.

Visitation: Thursday, at 4:00 PM at Hawthorne Funeral Home.

Burial: Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
