Bennie Paulk Jr., age 79, of Westchester County, NY entered in to eternal rest on Thursday, February 26, 2026. He was born on February 23, 1947 to the late Bennie and Rosa Lee, Paulk in Douglas, Georgia. He grew up in a loving home with his parents and three siblings. He began his formal education in Harlem, NY at PS 24 Elementary School and was a graduate of Herring High School in Manhattan,NY. At an early age he professed his faith and love for the Lord.
He was united in holy matrimony to Geneva Barr on March 10, 1967 in Newark, NJ. They shared a legacy of love for 59 years. This union was blessed with five children; Darryl, Kim, Yasmeen, Fatima and Ramel. He was also a close relationship with his nephew Dwayne.
Bennie was employed at ABCO Refrigeration Company and retired after 30 years of dedicated service. He was hard-working and devoted in every aspect of his life. His greatest love was for his family. As a parent, ruled with an iron fist but had a heart of gold. His children was definitely his achilles heel and he never stopped providing for them as needed. He maintained a close bond with all his children. While he loved many things, one of his favorite was being a grandparent. He cherished every moment and memory made with each of them. He shared a special bond with his youngest grandson Alijah and loved taking long walks and attending Alijah's basketball games and track meets. He was a die-hard NY Giants and NY Knicks fan.
Bennie loved a good crisp, white, button-down shirt and a good pair of cowboy boots. His friends gave him the nickname "Bennie White Shirt" due to his impeccable style. His smile was infectious and his laugh contagious. He was love and adored by many and his lost leaves and indescribable void.
Bennie is survived by his wife Geneva Paulk; children, Darryl (Tia) Paulk, Yasmeen Paulk, Fatima (Andre) Green, Ramel Paulk and
Nephew Dwayne Thompson; Great niece Maya.grandchildren, Marquis, Darryl Jr., Daqon, Agyei, Alijah, Yasmeen, Rachelle and Annakiya; great grandchildren, Lauryn, Demi-Zoe, Devante, Sincere and Shiloh; sisters, Geneva Paulk and Cynthia Paulk; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
