Bartholomew (Bart) Hickey

Bartholomew (Bart) J. Hickey 77, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Oct.13, 2016. He was born on Oct.20, 1938 to the late Timothy and Margaret Hickey in NYC. He proudly served in the US Army from 1961-1967. Bart worked for the NYC Transit Authority. He is survived by his devoted wife, Edwina Hickey of Hawthorne, N.Y. and by his loving daughter, Colleen Hickey of Hawthorne, N.Y. also survived by his cherished grandson, Christopher Hickey. One brother, Eugene (MaryAnn) Hickey of Congers, N.Y. and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his two brothers, Timothy and Patrick and sister, Jeanette Ford. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, 4-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Wednesday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
