Barbara J. Hawks

Barbara J. Hawks 91, most recently of Mt.Kisco, N.Y. and formerly of White Plains, N.Y. died on March 17, 2020 at the NYS Veterans Home in Montrose, N.Y. She was born on Sept. 12, 1928 to the late Lawrence and Katherine (nee McGowan) Matteson in Brisben, N.Y. Barbara was predeceased by her devoted husband, George F. Hawks in 2005 and also predeceased by her brother, Robert Matteson. Barbara is survived by her loving children, Barbara Hawks of Mt.Kisco, N.Y. and George (Laurie) Hawks of West Harrison, N.Y. also survived by her cherished grandson, Daniel Hawks. Also survived by her brother, Larry (Pat) Matteson of Beacon, N.Y. A private cremation was done and no other arrangements have been made at this time. In lieu of flowers donations to either, The NYS Veterans Home in Montrose, N.Y. or The American Heart Association, would be appreciated.
