Aurora Addorisio Obituary

With her family by her side, Aurora Marie Addorisio (DeVito) formerly of West Harrison and Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. passed away on September 28, 2022, she was 91 years old.

Preceding her in death is her husband of 64 years, Louis Addorisio, her parents, Michael and Angelina DeVito and siblings Geatano DeVito and Marie Mascolo.

Aurora will be forever missed by her children, Donna Addorisio Klein and Joanne Addorisio Benet; her devoted son-in-law, Andrew Benet; adoring grandchildren, Taylor and Grant Klein, Brooke and Amber Benet; great grandson, Kyson Silva, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Aurora was born in East White Plains on April 28, 1931 and was a lifelong resident of Westchester.  She was active in the Ardsley chapter of the American Legion, serving as their treasurer for several years.

Through her radiant smile and loving presence, Aurora brought a genuine feeling of tenderness and beauty to all who knew her.  Her immediate and extended family were the focus of her heart and life. As the days turn into months and months to years, the impact of her courage, selflessness and love will never diminish but will always remain our guiding light.

Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, Oct.7,2022 from 4:00-8:30 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Anthony of Padua Church, West Harrison, N.Y. on Saturday, 9:30 AM. Entombment to follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale, N.Y.
