Anthony Marcuccilli

Anthony “Tony” Marcuccilli, 93, of Hawthorne, N.Y., passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022, in North Myrtle Beach, SC. He is predeceased by his wife Marilyn, his brothers; Freddy, George, Ralph, Joseph and Frank Marcuccilli, his sisters; Elizabeth Mickiewicz and Ann Maisano, his nephew Anthony Marcucilli and his niece Donna Garbrecht.

He was born on October 9, 1928, in the Bronx to the late Anthony and Virginia (Mazza) Marcuccilli. Anthony delivered sausage throughout the entire region for 40 years before retiring. He is survived by his two daughters, Virginia "Ginnie" Cantalupo and her partner Dominick Guerra and Lisa Johansen and her fiancé Robert Kristoferson, his two Grandsons: Jared Johansen and his wife Kelsey Johansen, Jordan Johansen and his wife Joanna Johansen and his beloved Great Granddaughter Charlotte Johansen. He is also survived by his brother Salvatore Marcuccilli and many nieces and nephews.

Anthony adored his family and was incredibly loved by them. He was a huge part of their everyday life and was such an inspiration to them all. Anthony brought joy to everyone he met. He loved being in North Myrtle Beach, SC with his family at the family Beach House. This was his happy place. He loved going to the beach, sitting on the deck in the sun and going out for delicious meals, hence the beloved nickname “Bellie.” He will be incredibly missed by his family and everyone that knew him. He was the best Dad and “Papa” to us and will be missed more than words can say. We love you Papa.
