Anthony T. Macellaro

Anthony T. Macellaro 91, of North White Plains, N.Y. died on Nov.9, 2009 at his residence. He was born on Jan.3, 1918 to the late Angelo and Rose (nee Vino) Macellaro in Yonkers, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII. Anthony worked for the NYC Water Dept. in Valhalla, N.Y. as a water treatment operator. He was a proud member of the North White Plains Fire Dept. attaining the rank of Asst. Chief. Anthony is survived by his devoted wife Camella (nee Maratto) Macellaro of North White Plains, N.Y. His loving children; Ronald Macellaro and his wife Susan of Armonk, N.Y. and Rosemarie Iannibelli of West Harrison, N.Y. and 1 brother. Also survived by his 5 cherished grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday (today) 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Anthony of Padua Church, West Harrison, N.Y. on Thursday 10 AM. Entombment, Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale, N.Y.
