Angelina Mary (Buonocore) Forte

Angelina Mary Forte 95, of Thornwood, NY and formerly of South Pasadena, FL and New York City passed away peacefully on Feb. 29, 2020. Angelina was born on Feb. 4, 1925 to the late Gaetano and Michelina (nee Ferigna) Buonocore in Beacon Falls, CT. Angelina was predeceased by her devoted husband Alfred A. Forte in 2019. She is survived by her two loving children Vincent (Ann) Forte of Sun City, FL, and Janet Monaco of Thornwood, NY. Also survived by her four cherished grandsons Jeffrey Forte, Anthony Monaco, Steven Monaco, Louis Monaco and five great grandchildren.  Angelina was predeceased by her five brothers, three sisters and one son in law Anthony Monaco in 2017. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday (today) from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Innocents Church, Pleasantville, NY on Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to Sisters of Charity, 6301 Riverdale Ave. Bronx, NY 10471, would be appreciated.
