Angela Chiarella

Angela Chiarella born on October 13, 1922 to the late Gennaro and Anna Rotella, died of natural causes on February 19, 2014 at the age of 91 surrounded by her loving family. Born in New York City, Angela then moved to Marcellinara, Italy where she spent nearly 30 years. It is there that she married her husband, Luigi Chiarella, in 1939 and began a family of their own. Together they came to New York and made their home in White Plains. Predeceased by her husband (May 30, 1976), Angela later moved to West Harrison to be closer to her sisters. Angela is survived by her three children: Jerry Chiarella (Toni), Stella Stufano (Eddie) and Anna DiFede (Chuck); 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Tessina Scarfone, Geraldine Guillaro (Paul) and Julia Arturi (Gus). Angela is also predeceased by her sisters Maria Pugliese and Frances Arturi, step-brothers Anthony and Nicholas Rotella and nephews Gennaro Arturi and Sammy Arturi.
