In Loving Memory of Andrew Lutzker

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Andrew Marc Lutzker, 71, of White Plains, NY who left us on August 9, 2026.

Born in NY, NY on December 23, 1954 to Lester and Sophie Lutzker (both departed), Andrew was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and a cherished friend.

Andrew had a long and accomplished career in dentistry. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 1977 and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1985. He continued his education with a Fellowship in Implant Dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry in 1995. As a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, he also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU College of Dentistry from 1990 to 2002, where he had the opportunity to share his knowledge and experience with students.

Outside of his professional life, he was a talented artist with a passion for both ceramics and graphic art. His beautiful geometric silk-screen prints were displayed in a local art gallery, an accomplishment he was especially proud of. Beyond his love of art, he was a devoted sports and New York Yankees fan. He loved to travel and especially cherished his frequent trips to Bar Harbor and Ogunquit, Maine. San Diego also held a special place in his heart, and he often spoke of retiring there, drawn to its beautiful weather and sunshine.

Andrew is survived by his two children, Laura Lutzker Amato (and husband Sal), along with their child, Luca; and Jeffrey Lutzker (and wife Sarah), along with their children, Molly and Henry. He is also survived by his brother, Gary Lutzker.

Visitation will be held at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home 21 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532 on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM where a memorial service will be held at 12 PM.
