Ana Elisa Bombús, beloved mother, grandmother, and matriarch, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, at the age of 93.
Born in Guantánamo, Cuba, Ana Elisa built a life defined by faith, love, and resilience. In 1972, she courageously left her homeland and began a new chapter in the United States, settling in the Bronx, New York. There, she worked as a seamstress — a reflection of her dedication, skill, and quiet strength as she built a new life for her family.
Guided by her spirituality, Ana Elisa approached life with kindness, wisdom, and grace. She was a strong, independent woman whose nurturing spirit and unwavering faith touched all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Andres Ball, and his wife, Maria Antonieta; her beloved grandchildren Andres Alexander Ball, Adriana Katherine Zinon and her husband Savas Zinon, Nicholas Emmanuel Ball, and Natalie Isabella Ball. She is also lovingly remembered by Marta Rivera, mother of Andres Alexander and Adriana.
Ana Elisa will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her strength, warmth, and spiritual devotion. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
