It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Adele Nardone, who passed away peacefully on August 25th, 2026 at the age of 90.
Born on January 18, 1936 in Calabria, Italy, Adele was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she dedicated herself to creating a home filled with love, warmth, laughter, and cherished memories.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mary Jo & Anthony Collabolletta, Josephine & Joseph Terrasi and Barbara & Joseph Miller; her grandchildren, Marlena, Christopher, Viviana, Lily and James. She is also survived by her sister, Liliana, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Adele will now be reunited in glory with her beloved husband Faust and siblings Michael and Amalia who preceded her in death.
To those who knew her, she was so much more than a mother. She was a source of strength, comfort, and unconditional love. Her generosity and kindness touched countless lives, and her presence brought people together.
Nothing brought her greater happiness than being "Nonna" to her grandchildren. Countless birthdays, holidays and Sunday dinners where she cooked her famous meatballs are memories she created with her family that will be treasured forever.
A talented seamstress until the age of 75, she took great pride in her work and created beautiful pieces with care and attention to detail. From making handmade clothes for her 3 little girls to her meticulously altered prom dresses and bridal gowns, she poured her heart into every seam.
Her legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, and all those she loved. Though we will miss her deeply, we are grateful for the years we were blessed to have her in our lives and for the love she gave so freely.
She will forever remain in our hearts.
Rest peacefully, Mom. We love you and will miss you more than words can say.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
