Erika Gard

Erika "Ricki" Gard, 76, of Greenwich, CT, passed away on September 5, 2023. She was born on January 29, 1947, in White Plains, NY. Erika had a successful career as a Salon General Manager for luxury retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Halcyon Days Spa, and Boutique.

Erika was a beloved sister to John Gard and his wife Elizabeth. She was also a cherished aunt to her niece Allisa, nephew Eric (wife Karin), and great nephews Adrian and John, as well as great nieces Erika and Avery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and John Gard, her son Jeffrey Gard, and the love of her life, Peter Gisondi Sr.

Erika had a deep connection to her faith and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Mamaroneck. She found solace and strength in her religious community.

In her free time, Erika loved to travel to her favorite destinations in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Sorrento, Italy. She enjoyed spending quality time with her lifelong friends, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.

To honor Erika's memory, a celebration of her life will be held on September 11, 2023, at Hawthorne Funeral Home from 4 pm to 8 pm. We invite anyone who knew her to attend and remember her wonderful life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to your local animal shelter in Erika's name. She had a deep love and compassion for animals, and supporting these organizations would be a meaningful way to honor her memory.

Erika Gard will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
